Meet the Team
Jim Strom is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked in the senior care industry for more than 30 years as both an executive director and a regional director of operations. He’s also worked about 20 years in skilled nursing, with the last 10 years specifically working with assisted and independent living residents.
“I love having daily contact with our residents and families,” Jim says. “I especially love working with Maple Court’s caring staff to help make difficult days a little better for our residents. I also enjoy the challenge of successfully operating an efficiently run business."
In his free time, Jim enjoys a good game of golf, leading the free food ministry through his church, and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Karen, three children and six grandchildren.

Byrd comes to Maple Court with more than four years of experience in the health care industry.
