Meet the Team
Jim Strom is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked in the senior care industry for more than 30 years as both an executive director and a regional director of operations. He’s also worked about 20 years in skilled nursing, with the last 10 years specifically working with assisted and independent living residents.
“I love having daily contact with our residents and families,” Jim says. “I especially love working with Maple Court’s caring staff to help make difficult days a little better for our residents. I also enjoy the challenge of successfully operating an efficiently run business."
In his free time, Jim enjoys a good game of golf, leading the free food ministry through his church, and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Karen, three children and six grandchildren.
Sales and Marketing Director
As Maple Court’s director of Sales and Marketing, Madison Wright develops positive and lasting relationships between the community and the businesses and organizations in and around Knoxville. In addition to attending various community activities and networking events, her day-to-day tasks include helping residents and their families coordinate all aspects of the move-in process, developing annual marketing plans, and organizing marketing visits to the community.
Prior to joining Maple Court, Madison spent three years with another ISL community, The Pointe at Lifespring, serving as a senior Vibrant Life director and a sales and marketing assistant. She graduated from Carson-Newman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations. She lives and worships in Corryton, and she enjoys traveling, reading, big earrings, concerts, nurturing succulents, and spending time with friends and family.
Generations Care Director
Linda Knight, LPN, joined Maple Court Senior Living in 2016 as the Generations Memory Care director. She oversees the care and well-being of all of our amazing residents and works diligently to bring peace of mind to their families. Linda takes great pride in her position on the Maple Court team and truly enjoys it. She brings 32 years of nursing experience to the team, as well as experience as director of Nursing and Office Management. Linda is passionate about spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, and caring for loved ones.
Culinary Services Director
Kevin Fields joined Maple Court Senior Living as the Culinary Services director in March 2019. He learned to cook from his mother and nana and received his first chef coat at the age of 10. He brings more than 15 years of excellence in culinary service, with five of those years dedicated specifically to seniors in the Knoxville area. As a graduate of The Culinary Arts Program at Walters State, he is highly qualified and eager to bring an elevated dining experience to the residents at Maple Court. Kevin and his wife, Alicia, have three children, Hayden, Grayson and Charleigh Kate. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and restoring classic cars.
Vibrant Life Director
Ashley Bryant joined Maple Court Senior Living in 2013 as housekeeper and was promoted numerous times because of her loyalty to our family. She now serves as the Vibrant Life director. She enjoys making the residents smile and laugh every day and is focused on making their day a little better while bringing joy into their lives. Ashley is excited about the Vibrant Life program’s creating a strong element of independence, purpose and fun back into the resident’s lives. Ashley has an associate degree in health care administration and lives by a life motto of always treating others how they want to be treated. She has three kids and enjoys spending every single minute with them. Ashley loves UT football, fishing, hunting and camping. Go, Vols!!!
Business Office Director
Vonda Minnich joined the Maple Court Senior Living team in 2015 in the care department. She now serves as the Business Office director. Vonda worked the majority of her career in the banking industry and has extensive experience in administrative and office management. She has been married to her husband, Anthony, for 32 years and has a son, Lucas. Her heart is with her four grandchildren, with whom she spends a lot of her time outside of work. Vonda is passionate about worshipping at her church, shopping, walking, cooking and traveling!
