Our Senior Care Team

Angie Cox

Executive Director

Angie joined Maple Court in 2015 and brought with her a passion for senior care, 16 years in the healthcare industry, and an MBA from King University. She loves supporting Maple Court residents and their families, making the community a wonderful and safe place to live. She has been married to her husband Michael for 25 years, and they have two daughters, Kari and Wendy. Together, they enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hiking, sightseeing, and spending time with their puppy, Pandora.



Melissa Stewart

Health Services Director

Originally from LaFollette, Melissa currently lives in Clinton, TN. She comes to Maple Court with over 20 years of long term care experience, working as an NA, CNA, and LPN. Fun fact - Melissa also lived and worked in Scotland for three years. Melissa has been married for 14 years and has a seven year old son. She is currently finishing up her last year of an ASN degree program.



Amanda Spencer

Community Outreach Director

When Amanda joined Maple Court, she brought over 19 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her role as Community Outreach Director. She’s played many roles in senior living communities, including that of nurse, sales and marketing, and executive director for assisted living communities. She enjoys the sense of happiness she gets from both residents and staff, and loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, and playing with her Yorkshire terrier, Mia.



Ron Hammond

Building Service Director

Ron has worked in facilities management for more than 25 years, and brings a true sense of service and joy to his position at Maple Court. He enjoys working with a great team every day, and appreciates the ability to impact the lives of our residents and their families. Together with Loretta, his wife of 25 years, and their three children, Ron has been camping all over the US. He also has a passion for classic cars and for serving in his church.



Brittany Smith

Dining Service Director

Brittany attended Walters State Community College in the Culinary Arts department, graduating in 2011. Prior to joining Maple Court, she worked as a cook and manager in senior living communities. She takes great pleasure in working with our residents, especially when her meals trigger memories and the residents’ stories start to flow. Brittany has a four year old daughter, Olivia, and together they enjoy painting, biking, and going to Dollywood.



Ashley Bryant

Activity Director

Ashley began as a housekeeper at Maple Court before working her way up to Activity Director. She has a degree in Healthcare Administration, and says that what makes her job worth it is being around the residents on a daily basis while figuring out how to make them feel better and be happier. Together with her husband of 11 years, Ashley has two boys and one girl. They love to hunt, fish, camp, and watch their son play football.



Judy Kitts

Business Office Manager

Prior to joining the Maple Court team, Judy had over 22 years of experience in facilities management, accounting, and benefits. She loves working with the residents and their families, and she keeps the details of our community running smoothly. Outside of work, Judy likes making crafts, reading, and playing with her three grandchildren: Bryson, Nataleigh, and Adyson. She and her husband have been married for thirty-six years.



Vonda Minnich

Health Service Assistant

Vonda attended Morristown School of Business and worked in the banking industry for over 23 years before joining Maple Court as the Health Service Assistant. She brings a passion for seniors to her role, and loves working with the residents and the health services team. Vonda has two grandchildren (Dayton and Kaylee Ann), and enjoys walking, cake decorating, and spending time with family, friends, and her church.
